picnic in a lay-by near rannoch moor *sigh*
sal in a car park in tyndrum *lol*
gridlock round loch lomond *sigh*
23764876427 hours later we reached our hotel for the night
anakin: “but our room is so far from the restaurant – will you hear me yipYIP YIPYIP YIP YIP YAP YIPyip YIP?”
yes anakin. yes, we will.

That picture of the cars going round Loch Lomond – I was on that very road many years ago when the car in front of us caught fire. I mean, really seriously “is that car smoking?” followed by “do you think they’ve noticed the flames escaping from under the bonnet?” ending with then-boyfriend getting out of car and saying to now decamped driver and passenger “I’ve got some marshmallows in the coolbox.”
yeah, they’re good about that in scotland – impromptu campfires on the side of the loch ;)
